Since becoming a candle maker, I have learned to DIP the lit wick into the melted wax. This action quickly quenches the candle's fire. NEXT, straighten your candle wick. allow to cool. Once candle wick is cooled, snip off the 'burnt' wick eying 1/4 wick ready for the next burn.

THE FIRST TIME BURN

You are excited with your scented purchase. But first, let's learn HOW to fully enjoy your candle purchase. Some candles may be sold with a tall wick, while other wicks may be curled for a whimsical presentation. Whatever the case, trim your wick to a 1/4 inch height on the first burn. Here's the beginning of a wonderful 'CANDLE EXPERIENCE!'

BURN UNTIL CANDLE MELTS TO THE EDGE OF GLASS CONTAINER

To ensure that your candle burns properly, allow the candle to melt to the edge of the glass container. This action ensures that all wax will melt throughout the life of your future burn sessions.

DO NOT BLOW 'OUT' A CANDLE

1. MATCHES / STRIKER / RE-CHARGEABLE LIGHT

Their role is to ignite the candle wick by bringing the flame to the wick.

2. WICK TRIMMER

Used to trim the candle wick to it's exact & proper burning height to enjoy a candle that burns and promotes smooth even wax melt

3. CANDLE DOME

A beautiful, transparent, and classy way to display your candle when it's NOT burning. Yes, you could easily replace the lid it came with, BUT, try a glass dome and then see what you think :)

4. BAMBOO SKEWER / WICK DIPPER

Use either to DIP lit wick in melted wax (to Extinguish fire), then straighten wick. Also used these tools to remove any broken wicks that may have fallen into the melted wax. Keep in mind our aim is to ENJOY a well-kept candle and not a dirty one.

TUNNELING - Occurs when your candle does not burn to the edge of the candle container, but 'BURNS' a hollow hole in the center of the container.
